COMMUNITY - Asian Pop Weekly 14th Anniversary Zine

For our 14th anniversary, we’ve thought long and hard about the best way to celebrate this momentous occasion. It also gave us reason to look back on everything we’ve accomplished over the years and to ask ourselves: Why do we do what we do? 

We’ve racked our brains, the only answer that has made total and complete sense is COMMUNITY (aka you guys!!) 

Presenting our “COMMUNITY” zine, filled with exciting activities, reads, listens that reflect not only who Asian Pop Weekly is as a brand, but who we are as a community.

We tried to make this zine as interactive as possible whilst staying true to all the work Asian Pop Weekly has done over the last 14 years, so you'll find included stuff like:

• Beautiful artwork graciously shared by our favourite sonic and visual artist No Translation
• A music discovery crossword (who needs algorithms pfft)
• A city pop guest mix by our new friend Royce from Tokyophonic
• A community brainstorm on what community means to us 
• A republishing of one of the article's we're the most proud of featuring Hong Kong Australian Rainbow Chan
• Liner Notes from Hakka/Taiwanese world-pop artist Leafyeh and Asian-Australian alt-R&B artist Sarah Su including their handwritten insights
